Identify a marking on my Barrel ??

Not that it matters a lot, but that mark is more correctly known as a "Cartouche". They used to be used as an inspection stamp. Sometimes anyone who had anything to do with the firearm would stamp it with their own personal stamp. Other mfg's just had the final stamping. Look at anything made by FN that's at least 50 years old and notice how many little such stampings it has.

GA Precision has each rifle builder select a stamp symbol which gets used on every build they make. This applies to full builds not rebarreling projects. If a rifle comes back to the shop for some reason, it goes directly to that builder for resolution.

:)
This would be the correct answer. GAP used to have each Smiths stamp in there "about" page but I can't find it. I think yours is built by Eric Reid. 13CF68DF-3215-4A07-B30B-838B3D5FC903.jpeg
