I just bought 6.5 Berger 156 EOL’s

I grabbed 2 boxes from Midway also. Planning to try them in my 6.5 PRC and possibly 6.5x284. My fear is they will shoot well and then I won't be able to find any more!

So what cartridge and what twist is everyone gonna run with these? Figures i just built a 6.5 saum with an 8 twist... not gonna stabilize... not sure what to do now!

I'll be using them in an 1:8" saum and I'm at sea level. I think you should be just fine to stabilize them.

My 6.5-06 has a tired bore and my 140 vld accuracy dropped off. The 156 EOL today were shooting right at .5 moa after just a couple of tweaks to the load. So they don't seem too finicky. Loading up some more to test next week but may have it already. RL26.

I am running them in an 8 twist prc at 1100 ft with no problem. The Berger calculator says 1.53 SG at 2985fps.
