Hunting with Sierra Matchkings

Sierra's new tipped SMK's will be out shortly and they should be game hammers!

I realize it's something new to get excited about, but how much different will they actually be from what's already available i.e. A-max?

I have has good and bad results... everything I have shot with 300 gr SMK has died but sometimes the bullet opens or almost explodes on impact and sometimes they dont open much at all if any and just go wizzing through. due to the sheer weight of the 300 grainer it just works every time but I wouldnt use them in anything else probably. I have even switched from the SMK to the LRX in my lapua

It wont do anything different, just another option. The claimed BC is .515 on the 155gr 308 palma and that rocks!

Dropped two bulls with 338 cal 300gr SMK's in a 338LM. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
