That's a shame as you are missing out, the suppressor cuts the recoil of our .300 win Mags significantly.I'll never own a suppressor.
That's why I can't seem to justify the expense for one if I still have to wear hearing protection.
Honest question. What's the big deal though if you have to wear hearing protection still? That's a shame as you are missing out, the suppressor cuts the recoil of our .300 win Mags significantly.
That makes more sense. It's quiet enough for a few shots. That sounds nice for hunting. With mine I can definitely shoot quite a few rounds with no Ill effects but if I was going to spend all day shooting I would definitely put headphones on just to be safe.
I guess the best way to put it is that it makes my 6.5 PRC sound like a supersonic .22, quiet enough you really don't need ears but if you do it long enough then it will start to bother you. That makes more sense. It's quiet enough for a few shots. That sounds nice for hunting.
Did your son-in-law fill out his ATF form and get approved, and legally transfer it? If not, and he gets caught with it, he, and probably you, are in trouble. Are you a democrat? Sure looks like it.
By the way I have brakes on everything. I gave my suppressor to my son-in-law.
More than one?I'll never own a suppressor.
Lol I guess it didn't come out quite right. No I don't think anyone should be forced to do anything. At least a case could be made of a suppressor actually being a health benefit as opposed to a mask. I do prefer a can sometimes just depends on what and how I'm hunting. Most hunting ranges the short barrel really won't matter so why not. Long range I'm usually running a long barrel anyway so what's a few more inches.
I like being able to swap from can you brake. Love them both just nice not needing hearing protection sometimes.
Are you just trying to win the doucheiest comment of the year contest, here at the last minute?
You've got my vote.
I'm old and can't hear a **** thing so I don't need one. It might be fun to fiddle around with. Maybe.I see a lot of folks are putting silencers on their hunting rifles, even sacrificing ballistic performance by shortening barrels.
Anyone else prefer their hunting rifle to not have a silencer? Maybe I'm old school but I don't have muzzle brakes or silencers on my hunting rifles.
