I live in KY and our terrain is very similar to what you have in mississipi. I have real good luck calling from my deer stands. Like the other fella said just pick your stand according to wind direction and where you think the dogs will come from. A littl etrial and error and you will ge tit all figured out. reading this post made me realize I havent hit my stands in a while. I think I may go in the morning
