Hunting Blinds for 3 people

Here are some pics of a little blind I am building in the Oklahoma Panhandle. Set the poles yesterday.

The stairs were salvaged from on oil field tank battery. The poles were acquired when they were doing utility work in my area. I will be doing demolition on a old building in about a week to get the plywood, 2x4s, 2x6s, metal siding and windows. All I will have in it is sweat equity. I will have to by the lag screws, bolts and any other fasteners we will need.

When it is finished we will have a 12x12 deer blind overlooking a nice food plot and big crp field bedding area.

We have named it the penthouse.

Nice heavy antelope in your profile pic. What did it score and where did you get it? We took one near Boise City that scored 79 3/8. Yours looks heavier.

We got this one in unit 9 in WY. We have not scored him. Hoping to get to go back next year.

I built my wife a 5x8 last year that's solid as a house and will easily seat three average size people no problem. Depending on wood prices thought, it'll cost ya a bit.

Looks a lot like ours! We saved money and weight by ripping our 2x4's, except on the floors. Walls and roof are no problem to handle. We re-assemble on site at whatever height we need it.
