how to mount the scope

when i look at my scope it looks like its mounted level with the gun. how can i be sure it level when i say level i mean in the rings like clockwise counterclockwise. would it make a big diff if its off a little

thanks great idea i just did that looks good now. still might be a little off but it counldnt be much

If you did your scope the same way as the link I provided, it wont be off. Or off by VERY little...sakofan..Glad it helped..

yea i did it the same way but my rings are fully rounded no flat spots so i counldnt get it to stay. but i have a fluted barrel with the flute on top so i leveled off there and just checked it alot
