How much to back off when switching from Nosler to Peterson brass 280AI

Just ordered some Peterson brass to give it a try in 280AI. I've read that it's harder and more substantial than Nosler. How many grains do people typically back off when switching brass? Is there a formula you can use based on case capacity or is it just trial and error to find the same velocity?

I switched between .30-06 once fired Hornady (& Frontier) and once fired RP after having identified a couple nodes. I did not notice any difference that could not have been attributable to warming weather due to seasonal change in TX from Not Summer to Summer. All Brass was sized, trimmed and each head stamp was sorted into lots of 3 gr variance.

I changed bullets at the same time (7mm-08). Found I could load a lot hotter in Peterson.
