How many rifles does your wife think you own?

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only low life out there that either lies about how much rifles cost, or how many you have. My wife currently thinks I have (1) rifle and it's magically changed colors and size from year to yesr. I actually have had (6) customs in 2 years and currently have (3). So let's hear it. I know I am not the only one who keeps the spouse in the dark about rifle cost/quantity.

In reference to this thread, my former wife asked me that question one day, "Just how many guns do you need anyway!??" My response was, "And how many rings to you need anyway!??" She liked high end jewelry and I was always buying her stuff that she liked; for her "getting stoned" was measured in karats. Her response was, "Okay I get it?"

Actually my ex-wife and I both benefited from our divorce! We are both happier
now. Sure it's a pain at first but I soon started to enjoy it..A lot.
And the wife now lets me have my space and do my guns and fishing tackle thing
She thinks the horse trading is a hoot!

Not married but if I was she would know what all I have because dishonesty is a sure way to get in trouble, and it's disrespectful to one's wife, not to mention it's wrong. Just my .02

Lol you will change once you are married and everytime you buy a gun she thinks she gets equal value for purses and shoes.. I don't lie to her, but if she's not home when I carry it in and mix it in with the others it is not my fault!! When SHTF purses will not help.. In many ways, unfortunately in 24 years of marriage we have hit hard times a time or two and unfortunately selling a few guns have saved our a**, don't think we would have sold a purse or shoes that fast.. Guns are fun, but also great investments!!

When my youngest son moved out my wife and I became empty nesters . My son who has the same love and passion for rifles took all his guns , hunting gear and most of our weight room with him. Most of my wife's complaining was centered around all our gun stuff lying around and and never being put away. After our son left she seemed depress so leave a couple things lying around so she has something to complain about . It works! As far as how many guns I have and how much the cost I have the same policy don't ask don't tell! Married life is give and take, I leave a rifle leaning in the corner of the family room or a range bag on the table and the wife starts complaining. You have to be able to give back

I was speaking in jest but you obliviously don't know my wife . There is nothing cheap about keeping her. lol

I get it, this is all in jest. My first divorce cost me a house that was paid for. The second divorce cost me "a house that was paid for", the furniture and....she took her jewelry; again measured in karats! Getting a 30 year mortgage at 60 years old is being very optimistic!:(:rolleyes: Boy I really like this forum from guns to divorce!!!:D:D

Like you said,ITS ALL IN JEST
Keep it simple LOVE YOUR FAMILY
AND HAVE A GOOD LAUGH!!

Once upon a time my wife thought I had "a few". At one point I gave her a heads up that I'd be trading out some rifles and she mistakenly said she didn't care. I ran with it.lol She hasn't rescinded her comment yet, but every time she enters the man cave and sees a new rifle out, I do get a snarky "how many rifles do you need?!".....to which the only correct answer is..."just a few more honey". ;-)

I Googled "Blue Mountain Precision reviews", it referenced me to Facebook. If this gunsmith make this list, he ought to be good. The photos he has on Facebook look like high-end materials.
