I have an 11" 6mm creedmoor pistol and 18" 6.5 prc.

I'll have to dig for the long range targets if I even kept them. Nothing is overly impressive. .5 moa 1000 and some .2 600 but it's good enough to be solid hunter and out predators down on first round impacts if I get wind right.

Below is the pistol and some load development checks. Actually quite accurate for a pistol imho. I've shot several 800 yard steel targets and it does fine moa and better. I don't like shooting it much tho. Unbelievably loud. I have a can on order for it. 13 months and counting .

When you call .2 at 600 from a 11" pistol "good enough", I start thinking my goals are easy to achieve. Simply making contact with a target at 600 yards with a pistol blows my mind.

Interested in this. Im running a 20" 6.5 Creed with 123g AH at around 3050fps. What does the 85g at 3500fps do for you? Or is it just a different way to get to the same place? Just curious as im always looking for something to tinker with and try out. Thanks.
I'm interested in this myself. I had been looking at splitting the difference and trying the 109gn AH. If I guy could get those going 3200 out of a relatively short barrel that would be a sweet hunting rig.

Built a 6mm Creed last year… Mack Brothers action and a 20" OMR barrel. Never set up a load cause factory ammo shot so good. Shoots 108 ELD-M and 105 Bergers pretty darn well. I'm gettin an average speed of 2890 with the ELD-M.

Groups were all at 100 yards (top one isn't marked but it's the 108 ELD-M)

Those are with the 18" PRC. Keep in mind the pistol has a leupold vx5 3-15 on it. If you get centered up on the scope and keep fundamentals solid you can shoot pretty well with a pistol off a bipod or bag or tripod. It's not free hand shooting at all. I built the pistol for 500ish wolf hunting and stuffing the pistol inside my pack while riding my dirt bike way into backcountry areas. It's kind of a unproven project so the jury is still out. Hammering steel targets to 800 is actually pretty easy. I've had a several friends shoot it for the first time and they all connect with 10x10's just fine and a 20x20 is a given. I'm running 110 a tips at 2540 fps. Inside 600 I think any of us could shoot sub moa with it, even with that godawful stock trigger. I'll be shooting it again next week I think when we get the ranch range set up. I'll have to shoot some groups and take pictures. I really want the suppressor on it first tho. It's a cannon right now, unreal how loud it is. I have a 204 barrel for it too, that is 15" and runs a 39 gr sierra at 3480. That is a hoot to shoot.

Hate to be a party pooper but when I see a post like this I can't help but wonder why the person needs the loading data? Can't they figure out their own? My loading data, like factory is proprietary. I give it out and some idiot uses it carelessly and the gun blows up in his face I don't want to he held responsible.
I don't need the data so much as am just curious what kind of performance folks are getting out of short barrel setups out to said yardage. Oh yeah..and it's fun!-) please play responsibly and follow your reloader manual etc etc😉

I've been thinking lately about getting a stamp for my tikka and pulling the 16" 243win barrel off and putting a 12" 6gt on. 109s at 2500 is still supersonic to around 1200 yards!

Still in the works. Defiance Anti X, 308 win proof sendero 16.5 w/ area 419 hellfire, manners eh4 and trigger tech special. TB ultra 5 in jail.

Can't find a scope I want in stock or I'd have some groups.

I don't know how to post pics, but my Sako 85 20" varmint barrelled 204 shot a 15mm group at 200mts and about 1/2 that at 100.
