Just to be clear, shooting the guns has nothing to do with humidity. The environmental factors do. Inside and outside humidity combined with the heater running almost full time and a good heat rod in the safe drys everything out.

Try living in the desert (Tucson). That's standard operating conditions here (most of the time). Nothing to worry about IMO.

82F/1% RHis a -27F dewpoint. Unless you have a big bag of desiccant in there there is no way you can get that low in GA this winter.

Wanna bet? Take a look at the sensor. I put 3 different ones in there and got the results over a three day period. As I said, my house heater was blowing almost full time. And I have an 18 inch GoldenRod in the safe.
