Hornady 7mm 180 eld-m terminal performance (pics)

I use to be happy just hitting the target and use to call the bc good. When I needed to dial in for a possible kill shot I needed to dial in. To center my group I needed to adjust.

I came up with .3512 independently. Brian Litz's number is similar.

We have a 2 MOA hanging at 100 yard increments to 1100 yards.

Here's an update. I got the deer butchered this morning. I am extremely satisfied with the way this bullet performed at close range. Here is the entry shoulder

As you can see it pretty much disintegrated the joint. Here is the entry through the ribcage under the shoulder

Then we have the exit out the other side

Here's another I took last year with the 180 eld-m. Shot was around 80-100 yards on a hard quarter to me shot. Went down like a ton of bricks and snow plowed for 10 yards and was done. This time I had switch to ADG brass and got my velocity up to 3056 fps.

Entry side shoulder once again shattered.

The bullet ended up back in the gut bag somewhere so I wasn't able to retrieve it. So far though it's a narly bullet.
