Chasing a rabbit here but a friend of mine was deer hunting here in South Texas (several years back) and was just sitting back and enjoying the morning and low and behold what walked out - a kudu!!Along the same lines, I've never heard of or seen an animal complain about being killed too dead by "too large" of a round.
I deer hunt in Alabama with a 300 WM. A lot of people say it is too much. See above....
It had escaped form a game ranch somewhere.
Good thing he had a 30.06 and the kudu was less than 100 yards away. Needless to say he got hm a kudu. If he'd been toting a ..243 it might not have turned out the as well.
