high velocity 6.5 bullet choice?

For varmints in my part of world coyotes and hogs Berger 130 hunting VLD at 2800 is hard to beat!

A 140 hunting VLD from true 8tw will begin to fail at 300 KRPM/3,340 FPS.
The root cause might actually be friction, but when you do what it takes to reach this spin rate, with this bullet, -failures will occur.
The 90 hunting VLD fails with near precision of an atomic standard at 310 KRPMs
SMKs reach another 20 KRPMs higher before failure.

Why not go with the 156gr Berger EOL. They will have a little better BC and should stabilize out of an 8 twist just fine. I'm shooting them in a 24" 6.5 prc and getting 3000 fps so you should be able to get close to the speed you're after in the stw especially if you have a longer barrel.

For a bullet that can handle high speed and never let you down you'd have to go with the Hammer Hunter. Not a high BC bullet so not perfect for long range shooting, but at hunting ranges it would be supreme
