High BC hunting bullets for 22" barrel 30-06

I loaded the 181's in my Uncles Browning 06. I go back and forth as to what bullet is better. Depends on how far to shoot. I really like our 166g for 06. Great vel decent down range. The 181g will extend the range a bit. 166g makes for a pretty comfortable rifle as far as recoil. As soon as you take the 181g up around 2800fps the recoil gets much more noticeable.

I will send a not to the tester on the 35's. Have not heard back.

Ive alway enjoyed this Web site as it has break downs on each cartrages built,,, common ones at least.

Was scouting out my last one time rifle too finish my days when I came apon this site.

I spent many years with all the common rifles like 243, 270, 30-06, 308, 300 Win and Weatherby mags, 338 and 375 H&H.

Mind says yes as body says no, so all the left overs are mostly sold off as the Odd-6 will fill most my needs till then.

Collectors item 303 British will remain in our family forever.

.30-06 Springfield

Yuppers, my 300 Weatherby has been my best friend for 22 years, so it's time to let go and return too where it all started for me in 1980.

Enjoy the read of good times on 30-06, or click on the home page,,, search down too cartrages the click.

From that page you can scroll down too read info on cartrage performance factory or reload, and impact on different size game at different distances.

All for those that enjoy reading as it gets us up to speed on the happenings.
