Drop in. However, it's always good to bed the action and float the barrel when fitting it to a new stock, just so you know the action is planted, and the barrel isn't touching anything.Are these truly "drop in" or will I need to shave the stock in some areas?

Some smiths charge alot of money to float and bed...Mine only charges me $50, so I just pay him to do it, while he's building my rifle. That way I knock it all out in 1 shot.I'm assuming that you are referring to floating and bedding? I'm very familiar with that. Do you have a bedding kit to recommend?
