Here recently I have been fixing up old guns for friends for a little extra cash. To day buddy brought me his dad's Remington Woodsmaster. Here's the problem the forearm has got to be stripped and sanded and refinished. How do I do that with all the basketweaving in the forearm stock. The only thing I can think of is to put it in the blast cabinet and bead blast it to get the old coats off. Will that hurt the stock and then what how do I sand it back smooth. Thanks guys..
