Hawkins hybrid rings in 35mm, who does this?@?@

My guy in idaho I was using doesnt smith anymore. Does anyone have a line on someone that takes 34mm Hawkins hybrid rings and makes them 35mm?? Thanks in advance

if someone asked me to do this I would say no just look around and find a set that will work that are 35s sell old ones on E-bay

I dont want that.. I want to try the hybrids in 35mm

I agree that a 35mm lapping tool would work but time consuming.

Any good machine shop or smith can bore it to the required specs.

Not sure that would speed up much

The drill adapter option ( ~ :44 min mark) will speed up the rough part and then finish it by hand.

Not easy to do, if you aren't carefull you will end up with a set of rings that will hold your scope in place. You cannot just clamp them together and bore them out. also, lapping will take forever .03937 thousandths is a lot of metal to lap. Buy them new and keep the 34's for another application. you could save a lot of headache down the road.
