This thread is a fustercluck. I'm surprised it's garnered the attention it has. It would be prudent to start a new thread, where objective data and the rules of "Scientific Method" are applied as best possible. For the past several years I had been using the 90gr Absolute Hammer in a 25-06 going 3611 fps with great success on whitetails. The burden of proof is on the person making the claim. All I want to know is what are the problems with the HHTs. Without an answer, there are none.
There is absolutely no room in the skull for anything other than brain matter. Anything extra causes all kinds of problems. That's great! When I was a kid my neighbor used to hunt black bear with hounds and 22 Magnum pistol. All head shots. I thought it was insane but he never had an issue. Killed one of the largest black bears in California back in 1987. It was 476 lbs or something crazy. Half the football team went up and helped drag it out. 22 mag pistol.
No worries at all Bud it's all good, he has some pics I think showing results but I may be wrong, don't hold me to it and I have some pics as well of the 80HHT in a 264 Win Mag that I slowed way down hoping to make the pill work but it didn't help, fist size entrance, pencil out, no petals to be found, bloodshot and it ran 125 yard down the side of a mountain. For me…it's ok, I don't need to delve into that. Sorry to hear and sorry I brought it up.
