Huh, an issue that is there but not seen seems like a non issue to me!
This thread is a fustercluck. I'm surprised it's garnered the attention it has. It would be prudent to start a new thread, where objective data and the rules of "Scientific Method" are applied as best possible. Big emphasis on bias reduction, to hash out this bullet makers tipped copper monos.

What's the twist rate on that 22" barrel?
The burden of proof is on the person making the claim. If another thread is started it would be no different than this one if the people making the claim cant give a simple answer.
All I want to know is what are the problems with the HHTs. Without an answer, there are none.
For me…it's ok, I don't need to delve into that. Sorry to hear and sorry I brought it up.

For the past several years I had been using the 90gr Absolute Hammer in a 25-06 going 3611 fps with great success on whitetails.
This year, I switched it up to the 122gr HHT in my 270 WSM at about 3450 fps. Got a nice buck at about 125 yards quartering away. It seemed like it was too much.....more bloodshot meat this year compared to the 90gr AH in years past.....but it was a single shot, he ran in 1 1/2 circles, and piled up about 25 yards from where I hit him. Dead deer. Bullet did its job.
Sample size of 1.....but 100% success rate
Gonna do load development using the 116gr AH here soon....so hopefully next year I can have success and compare those 2 bullets.

For every bullet out there there is some people who love it and others who say it don't work. IME it's much more about shot placement than bullet construction.
To that same note a few years ago I shot at a deer. looked like nothing happened, deer picked up his head and slowly trotted about 15 yards into the bush. (250 ish yards, no way I missed.) So I went to where he was in the snow and found a few drops of blood. Deer was dead about 2 yards in the bush, when I gutted it his heart was completely obliterated. Sometimes weird **** happens

There is absolutely no room in the skull for anything other than brain matter. Anything extra causes all kinds of problems.
No worries at all Bud it's all good, he has some pics I think showing results but I may be wrong, don't hold me to it and I have some pics as well of the 80HHT in a 264 Win Mag that I slowed way down hoping to make the pill work but it didn't help, fist size entrance, pencil out, no petals to be found, bloodshot and it ran 125 yard down the side of a mountain.
Yeah it was dead and that's ok for some but as I said earlier when we are at this level of bullets we shouldn't even be discussing this
