Hammer bullets/ powder in 7mm mag?

If you do decide to go heavier Hammer - here's what Flat Creek came up with for a 169 HH and 7 Rem mag

His 1-9.5" twist will shoot the 169g Hammer Hunter sideways. The heaviest Hammer Hunter he can run would be the 146g Hammer Hunter. I personally would run the 131g Hammer Hunter. At 3400 fps plus, this combo would be very good to 700y or so with a point blank range to about 400y and hold hair to nearly 500y.

đź‘Ť Good thing you're on here to keep folks like me straight - I missed the 1:9.5" spec.

Thanks Shane I believe you to be absolutely correct!! You think I could offer you some of my other powders like h 4350 or R 25 in trade for r 23 or some boxes of.284 accubonds 160 grain bullets and get any takers?

Sorry friend, no hazmat license and haven't seen any RL 23 since all this crazy chit happened. Running low on my stash.

I run the 143 Hammer Hunters in a 9.5 twist factory barrel. I push them to 3338 fps with RL26, GM215M primers and ADG brass. Sub 1/2" accuracy in a rifle that didn't produce anything close to that for accuracy woth numerous other premium bullets. It saved my 7 RM from being rebuilt into a different rifle.
