This is a cow that I hit too low and just caught the bottom of the heart. She went about 30y after the shot. This was a shot at 600y with 338.

This is a muley doe. This is the typical look of lungs. Shot with 179g DeadBlow Hammer from a 300wm. This doe was shot at about 250y.

I've got another 20 124 hammer hunters loaded up with a couple different powders for my 6.5 creedmoor. Planning on using them on a mule deer hunt in November, and if all goes well I will be using them in Africa next June for smaller plains game and if my son decides to shoot something.

My best load so far was 44.5 grains of H4350 at 2913fps with an ES of 16, I'd have to look on my computer at home to see what the SD was. Group was .2825 for 3 shots at 100. Planning to shoot the new loads at 300, including the 44.5 H4350 to see what I can get at longer distances. I have some loaded with Varget, H4350, and RL16.

300AX 181gr HH dummy round next to my 200gr accubond load.

like with any tecnology it improves over time. i've shot the barnes bullets for years with great results. but granted the early ones needed some work, which barnes has done. the biggest then i've found to help improve accuracy is adjusting the seating depth.the other is the twist rate of the barrel when your shooting all cooper bullets. i have a client's problem child i'll be playing with again come spring, and ordering some hammers and eld x's to try in it. on powder look at the ramshot line of powders, i've had good luck with hunter in 280,270, 30-06 and too many others to list. magnum is my go to for all my magnum calibers, such as 300wm,308norma 300rum plus others.
