H4350 and 6.5 staball in 270wsm

Also the data I have for 270 wsm for h4350 says max charge Is 58 grains and I'm only getting 2953 fps mv with 140 grain nosler ballistic tips.does this sounds right or am I just expecting to much? Seems like you have a good bit of experience with the 270 wsm that's why I'm asking
I need to get my backup drive with some reloading data the I have. I changed laptops this summer and didn't move everything over yet.

If you can find RL23 it has worked great in my 270 WSM. 3380 FPS with 126HH in a 24" barrel.
2953 doesn't seem up to it's potential even with a 140 grain.
Thanks I'll have to look into that.also the 2953 av mv with 140s was with the max published at 58 grains of powder.but in my rifle there was no signs of pressure what so ever so I will be testing higher charge weights soon.i know I can get more fps than that with my remington 7400 270 win with 22inch barrel with w760 powder

Hello all I'm looking for load data for the 270wsm and h4350 and staball 6.5 powder.this I a new to my caliber and I want to get the most out of it with the supplies I have on hand.im trying to find load data for both these powders for this cartridge I will be shooting 124 hammer hunters and 133 shock hammers when they get here.and also have few other bullets to uses as well.i also have w760,n550,ramshot big I can use if they would be better to use in this caliber also have faster burning powders like used in my 308 as well.im asking all this because none of these powders are listed in my nosler or seirra reloading manual.any input is greatly appreciated thanks and God bless
I use reloader 22 with Berger bullets

I have reloaded hundreds of the 126 HH on top of H4350. I worked up a load until I found pressure and backed off a grain and then another. I started at 58 grains and worked up to 65 grains. I had pressure at 65 grains, and backed down to 64 grains, and still got pressure sometimes. So, I backed down to 63 grains. I am getting 3415 fps at 63 grains and 3440 at 63.5 grains. I am shooting a 26" Benchmark barrel with a 1:9 twist. Obviously, this is unique to my gun, work up slow. Be safe.

I will say, the only 270 WSM loading I've done was for my dad's and that was with 130gr Nosler BSTs and IMR4350, never chronographed, can't remember the amount of powder though. Never really did a work up in it either, but they shot and they didn't have pressure, I'm pretty sure it was whatever Nosler had a recommended as their most accurate load. Hornady does have some H4350 data in their new book, but it's only for the 110gr and 150gr could always split the difference.
