A good substitute is a powder similar (as recommended by previous posters) to or near H1000's burn rate (refer to a current burn rate chart) that you can find. A powder that you cannot find or have will do you no good. That is the beauty of reloading; finding the best load with what you have. You cannot base your powder solely on the chambering; you also need to factor in which bullet you are using. Each bullet manufacturer has its powder recommendations; call their technical support directly for advice. As for anything else, YMMV. Good luck!
