Gun stocks-How to-Spider webbing

I have way too many stocks that are black with gray or green webbing. I've searched for rattle cans that offer this but seem to only find discontinued products. Any suggestions? Pics of results? Looking for other colors like red-blue-tan, etc.. Appreciate feedback.

I purchased rattle cans of prep and brown rock simulation paint from the Home Depot 10 years ago and they worked wonders. Look cool, really last and the added texture helps when shooting big birds in the wet weather. Pops

Here's another stock I painted in green, brown and black, and then used the black marbelizing spray over the top before clear coat. I found that the white and silver added a very nice texture to the stock which aids in gripping it, although nothing like say a HS Precision stock. However, the black seemed to dry almost completely flat and you almost can't even feel a texture from it. This is more of a bench rifle, so no concerns for me on that, but it would be a little slick as a hunting rifle.

I painted my shiny stainless steel AR bbl with black truck bed coating in a can and it worked great. I don't know if there are other colors but it accepts most paints well. It's in my muzzle brake and holds up surprisingly well.

You could use the sponge technique if you want to add blobs. Here's a truly natural rock camouflage in ANWR I recently saw. Doesn't even look like a rifle anymore just a rock

That would make a great camo pattern, I have a stock that needs one. I think I will try that pattern
