New to silencers and after about 75 rounds I see a trend I did not see unsuppressed. I get a 45* group each found going higher and right. I shoot 3 shot groups and use a fan between groups to return the suppressor to ambient temp between groups. I've tried different bullets, bullet weights and types, charge weights. All shoot the same. Remove the can small clover leafs. Thought I'd ask more experienced users for anything to look for. It's a 6.5 saum, 7.5 twist proof, 59.7 H-1000, hammers, eldx, lrab, tsx. Thanks in advance.

I have a 6.5 Prc that is shooting lights out with the Omega 30. Groups stacking on each other. Was going to use the Omega on my 280AI and switched my Griffin Ultralight hunter to the 6.5 PRC and my groups went to around 2 inch groups. Put the Omega 30 back on the PRC and groups right back to .5 MOA. I make sure I load dev with what ever suppressor or brake I will be using for hunting or shooting as have seen definite changes in different muzzle devices.

Prior to getting my can I read a lot about them with an eye on potential changes to accuracy. I knew the point of impact would change, it would with a 10+oz muzzle weight. I was just surprised by the 45* angle and group size increase with at least 4 combinations. I'll work on the full ladder test with the suppressor after deer hunting.

I believe the words we are looking for here are Barrel Harmonics. Changing the weight or length of the suppressor on the end of the barrel is affected by many variables making each suppressor and barrel combo unique and the only way to find the way a load shoots in a specific barrel with a specific suppressor is to try it.

The bullet is spinning as it slides down the barrel creating a whip like action. The 45* angle sounds pretty common to me but it all depends on the whip of the barrel with or without the added weight as the bullet exits the muzzle.

but in short, changing any 1 variable could change accuracy and or poi.

I direct thread it to the adapter. It's never been lose, I do my best to have it the same tension each time. I have noticed that a small change to the powder charge has eliminated the angle. I guess I just need a little more tuning. I will keep this information for future review.

You are changing the harmonics of the barrel and may not be able to use that suppressor at all. It's a common problem reloading won't fix

Agree.
I have a 280AI Sendero Lite that will shoot small groups with thread protector only.
When I put the direct thread suppressor... it'll go to 3".
I tried to fine tune but to no avail!
I just shoot this rifle without suppressor.
