Somehow I doubt Norway has ONE ethnic group that is <15% of population that is responsible for 80% of violent crime.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it seems like you're talking about the African American population. If that's true you should probably look back at the history of slavery and oppression that drove them into the situation that they're currently in. They are just now slowing starting to dig themselves, as a culture, out of the hole tyay slave owners and oppression put them in.

I'm not saying that it excuses the crime statistics, but I think it shows that it was an outside influence that got them to where they are.

I like to think the best about people so I chose to belive you did not read history well because if you did they I just caught you lying.

There was no law regulating gun ownership until 1961 and register rifles was not mandatory until 1970's and shootguns in late 80's.

The guns handed to Germans was mainly from forces that surendered during the ocupation.
Lots of guns in private ownership was hidden inside walls or buried. To this day it still happens that people find old guns because the ones hiding it died from both natural and not so natural causes trough the 5 years of occupation.

Stating things you think is true or just might be true as facts is not helping anyone or anything.

Harder punishment make harder criminals.
I think there was one US state that had a system where you got prison for life if you had a third offence. Despite our rates I suport that model.
If your caught again and again and can't be fixed then got to start putting protection of others higher.
I think no country is perfect and every country could be better if we started learn from each other with an open mind.
There is stuff I like in most other countries that I would like Norway to learn from.

Capital punishment makes really soft criminals wether cremated or rotting away in the ground they were turned into a better person they wouldn't be hardened. David

Adults usually have an opinion for or against something right or wrong at least the ones I know who are capable of figuring out what part of the boot usually has the remains of a dog pile stuck to it so keep your adult opinions to your self like I said enjoy your laws and country and don't try to talk your liberal thoughts to people that are pro gun to start with brain wash your children and let the United States of America keep bailing out all of your poverty's and wars that we have suffered through for people who don't care any way David

Just because you feel that his government is oppressive, doesn't mean that he does.

Your opinions and feelings don't invalidate his, just like his don't invalidate yours.

As several people on here have said no government is perfect. If we are unwilling to objectively study what work in other places and be willing to implement it, how will our government ever get any better? Or is "good enough" what you're okay with? Personally, I want it to be the best that it can be for all of its citizens, not just what a certain subset of them want it to be.

If you pay close attention when you stumble through reading you would see that I am glad he likes the running of his country by the government so far I've almost been satisfied with ours time will tell for the future but if you are willing to lay down they will be willing to let you but once you lay down don't think you will ever stand on your own again just hoping our country can hang on the stool has been flushed and we are in the swirl I just hope there is something on the porcelain to hang on to.
