So it's on the heavier side of things. But still uses a gas system. I wonder how much of a difference the lighter spring will cause. I can't stop wondering if it's wise to lighten the spring. The 300 wm is no slouch for pressure. I guess I'm just saying be careful.

Keep same spring and go lighter on the buffer. Maybe 1/2pz st 1st than 1oz. I gave a 9.5oz buffer in a 6.5prc ar, but will need toto drop 3+ ozs.

Buffer weighs 7.689 oz.

Try a 5-5.5oz and add 3 weights since you don't have an agb. Must be overgassed is why such a heavy buffer. I wonder if they forgot the weights? Call an ask.
