Had surgery on my shooting shoulder...
The only question I ask the dr was how soon can I shoot...
Mine was just grinding the ac joint bones so it wasn't major
Hope to shoot this weekend 308 suppressed should be good
Nope! What got you out of it?ive been out the long range shooting game for a while. I really rejoined the group to look at selling my long range equipment but after reading through the articles in the forum I've kind of got the itch to start reloading and doing some Rock chucking. Have any of yal been out for a while then come back?
Well, long story short, my wife died and I needed to find something I could do on my own that would get me away from the house for long periods of time so I found adventure motorcycle travel. It was right up my alley and I love it. I'm still going to sale my long range stuff I'm sure. Just waxing nostalgic.Nope! What got you out of it?
Wow...I'm very sorry to hear this. Wasn't expecting an answer like this, didn't mean to pry. Why don't you give them one last shot (pun intended). Maybe you will change your mind and rediscover the passion! Sadly as we get older....we sit around talking about what ails us...when we used to talk about hunting and fishing.. or women

Like a wise man said get busy living or get busy dying
Thanks, I am carrying on. I've found that adventure motorcycling fills the nitch for me at this stage of my life. And get busy living or get busy dying is a quote from the movie Shawshank redemption.i believe, that was Captain Augustus McCrae to his good friend Captain Woodrow Call.
Man, this is a serious thread!
Rangerbear, I can't start to imagine what you must have gone through with your loss. I hope you can get back to doing what you enjoy.
All this talk of surgeries and failing parts, at 49 it's making me realize, I may be getting old LOL.
This just shows that even among rugged men, they are still caring and concerned for others.
Im just trying to get into this longrange thing. And have learned much from you gentlemen.
You all are in my prayers and I hope you have a better 2020.
