a 140gr 6.5 bullet will have a better BC than the 140gr 7mm bullet so it's gonna do a bit better in the wind. Personally I won't buy a 6.5 Creedmoor because people love them to much but I will admit its the easy button for a lot of reasons.

Well have 2 6.5 Creedmoors, they are very accurate shooters, there are a lot of factory ammo options, so many I never really got into reloading it. Hmm, as far as the advantage over a 7mm, bought a 7mm PRC just to see if my daughter would prefer it. She likes shooting the Creedmoor. The 7mm PRC has a bit more recoil, than your 7mm-08. In hindsight maybe should have looked at a 7mm-08 or a 280-AI, instead. But shooting T-Rex's on the moon personally would prefer getting one of those Brontosaurus, and have a good Bronto burger or Ribs like the Flintstones. May have to move up to my 375 Ruger for that bad boy.

Yup, new name with old results... about identical my old 6.5-284 Norma but with a magnum bolt face.
Oh... but they have a great marketing team!

With that said... I have both the Creedmoor and 7mm-08's.
I punch paper and steel with the Creedmoor and take the 7mm-08 out in the field.

Oh come on..we all know a 65cdmr with less case capacity..is so superior to a 65284...that's the reason it kills TRex thru the atmosphere....do you really believe rainbows are made with water...no...they are made from the refraction of light hitting all the copper on the moon and reflecting to earth.........

In my 8 months of being on this forum, I've definitely noticed cliques, and trends. Unfortunately, or is it fortunately, I don't belong to any of them.
I don't own a nightmare scope, 6.5 Creed, 300 WM, and don't believe that someone should have to settle for being a mediocre shot, but make up for it by shooting a canon to compensate. But the best laughs of all come from those who don't know how to deal with a female being involved in hunting/shooting, and especially having an opinion of their own like I do, so they then try and start rumors about being FBI.
