Fun, cheap hot rods?

Ok... so, tops on the list are looking like in no particular order:
22 creedmoor
6 Dasher
6x47
6 BRA
6 creedmoor
22-250 AI
243/AI
Let's look at advantages of one over the others. What cream is rising to the top? Brass, dies, bullet selection, capability to be consistent at 1000, inherent accuracy?? Etc, etc...

6 dasher and 6bra are known winners at 1000
inherent accuracy
consistent
bullets
brass and dies
the bra is easier to form than the dasher
the rest are all bigger more powder, not better performance
6x47 maybe, but just more powder..not seen in br, but in high power where less accuracy is required.
just 2cents..ya get what you pay for
(2015 600 yd national champ with a 6 dasher)

I wanna build a fun range toy. Love the 28 nosler for most things walking, but man, it's spendy to send some serious roundage downrange! I have an 'ol Remington 788 in 22-250 that I've always wanted to screw with. 22 creedmoor is intriguing, 22-250 AI— a 6mm something-or-other oh my! Use is LR steel, varmints maybe competition... I don't know....
Requirements:
Relatively inexpensive to operate
Low to no recoil ( will also have MB/ can)
Standard bolt face short action
Will have fast twist for caliber bbl
Quality brass that's available
Readily available high BC Bullets that are available

I'm kinda itchy for something cool but not too cool... ya know?
Sell me on something!
I have a 22bench rest, good to 350 yards no recoil cheep to load. The other fun gun is a 6/284 my grandson takes it for deer and elk I load 105 gr.bergers and has one shot kills every year.Leon

The 22CM and 22/250AI are almost the same, 30 vs 40* shoulder, and I have used 22CM brass in my AI for fireforming. My 22/250AI groups in the hi .1's to low .2's consistently, drives 80gr bullets up to 3,650, but mine groups best at 3,500 and similar with 75's. the 88 ELD has a .545BC and at 3,250fps remains supersonic at a mile at my Western altitude. The 90gr runs .600bc.

Bullet cost is $19/100 or so for the Amax/ELD with a little more for Berger. So a cheaper shooting "hot rod" for 1,000 To a mile, "I" would choose the 22CM or 22/250 AI. YMMV

remaining super sonic and hitting a target is two different things.

75's at 1000 is pretty much a dream...on target, at a mile...lol

??? We've been doing it for years. So, a BC of .47 at 3,500fps won't stay on the x at 1,000? We also use the 223 with 75's at 1,000 F class and it goes 2,970

LMAO

Nothing is the wrong answer here. I'm loving the discussion. A fast twist 22 creed really has me a bit twitterpated, but the 6 BR 'cats have me all hot and bothered!! Lol!!

the x in f class at 1000 is 5" or 18.6 sq in
the x in 1000 br is 3" or 7 sq in.
that means the f class shooter has TWO AND ONE HALF times the area of a br shooter for an x hit. there is a reason 6bra and 6 dasher are shot at 1000 in br and 22's are not.
