Had some questions comparing the 2700 to the 2800.
Ranging capabilities are the same with either. The main difference is the 2800 can download 3 ballistic curves & is blue tooth capable, vs the 2700 having the micro sd card with one curve per card. Seems to me to be easier to have a separate card for each gun.
Regardless, I wasn't interested in the ballistic curves aspect, and have never taken the SD card out of the case. I just wanted a rangefinder that would reliable range to 2K for targets and 1K on coyotes, which it does admirably.
