I'm very lucky here in Alberta we have a lot of big open country.I've been looking for somewhere around here to shoot really long range. I think I have a place, but not sure how it will play on the evening news. There is a strip of woods just east of the 1st Talladega super Speedway exit on I 20 between the lanes. Looking back west is a mile marker, set the target there. Figured most people will think its part of a road crew. Looking for anyone else is interested in shooting with us. This is a joke, it's really hard to find anywhere in Alabama to shoot that distance.
There are huge ag fields here where we could shoot, but farmer's aren't going to ok that with the threat of being sued is a bullet struck anywhere else. And I don't blame them. I wouldn't if I was in their position. Live stock, houses being seen in the distance. I'm just lucky some of them let me hunt.I'm very lucky here in Alberta we have a lot of big open country.
No winter this year...it's been put on hold....shoot away!2000 yards is next but I'm thinking winter is finally going to hit before I'll get the chance.
This has been a crazy winter so far.
