Feds to try a different approach

This is key. We all like to bitch about the system but tend to be reclusive and not go try to fight the issues. The side that shows up is the side that wins, and if hunters don't turn up to plead their case, there's no chance for a win.
There is benefit in being involved, but not in showing up to meetings. County commissioners, county sheriffs, etc. have real power to stand in the way of this stuff if they have the backbone and support to do it. Showing up to meetings trying to show how reasonable you are to people that have already won and hate you is a waste of time, been there done that.

That same group has proven several times over the years that they are completely and absolutely untrustworthy as they have continually moved the goalposts- not just on wolves but also on other species such as Grizzlies- since the reinfestation was thrown on us in 1995.
There are a number of groups who "advocate" for wolves! "Advocate" is a nice way of putting it! All these groups have their roots in extremist animal rights philosophy and the most dangerous of them is the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS)! The HSUS markets itself as an animal protection group but it's hands are dirty because many empolyee's of these animal rights group's have worked for other extremist groups such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) as well as other extremist groups. It's like a revolving door with them! The HSUS is actually in business to write and enact legislation on a local, state and national level. They have installed "Directors" in most states which are actually lawyers and registered lobbyists -- which have their fingers into governmet! If you visit their 'good boy' page (https://hslf.org/humane-scorecard) you will see which side of the political asile supports them -- and it's by a huge percentage!
At one time a number of years ago, I helped to infiltrate an animal rights group in Oregon which was compromised of about 75 people -- most of which were extremists. All had one particular personality in common and that was they all had a "misanthropic personality" -- in other words they hated humans! As far as achieving their goal they all felt the "end justified the means" -- which means they felt they were justified in cheating, lying, stealing and destroying property if it achieved their goal!
Yes -- they also always move the goalposts when any compromise is made with them! They are not honest and many are obsessive and will not stop! Therefore we should never compromise!
