The first rifle I ever bought was a Rem 700 25-06 in 1984. I have no idea how many groundhogs and deer I've shot with it right through 2018. Once my suppressor arrives late this year assuming no more government shutdowns, it will be retired and replaced with a 1:7 twist custom action rifle.

Bad news guys. Remington just replied to my inquiry on the twist rate. It is indeed a typo on their part. It's a 1:10 twist. Bummer!

I knew it had to be a typo. It didn't make any sense whatsoever
