The 6.8 Western has a few more grains case capacity than the 270 Win and a few grains less than 270 WSM. So velocity would be between what these 2 can do. The 6.5 prc, creedmoor, 6.8 Western do not do anything you cannot do with older cartridges if you violate saami specs. That is something a custom gun owner or handloader will do but not something a factory gun or ammo manufacturer will do.

Mean like this? .270 Thors Hammer (aka .270Win). SAAMI got seriously "violated" with this build.
