There is another angle on these buys. It could be a set-up for robbery. There you are with $1500.00. Did they pick the place to meet? Sounds like a good way to get one's head busted.

Reminds me of a guy that bought a coonhound for $11,000 and the a year later sold it back to the original owner for $3500.Or maybe he is rich and just doesn't want it anymore.

I disagree. Look on wish. Com. They have lots of big name knock offs on there. At best, they're $40.00 glass.The high end scope market is too limited to do a knockoff.
Ask for the serial number and see if it is legitimate. Also, if your going to meet him ask to meet at a police station. if this works out, you may have a great deal in hand. Be careful and stay safe.
