F Class Rifle

Yes barrels are consumables, but that right there is a deal killer for me on an F-class rig. Rebarreling every season and constantly chasing the lands, no thanks.

As I stated, it's a personal choice dependent on many factors including frugality and time available for re-barreling and testing. I don't chase lands since many of the reamers I use for personal rifles are bore rider configurations. ;) While I succumb to more aggressive cartridges for some pursuits, I also enjoy shooting cartridges in the much milder category which demonstrate long barrel life and a lengthy accuracy node. I'm enamored with my 6BRX rifles and I get just as much pleasure and enjoyment when I shoot my 6x47mm (.222 Magnum) for depredation hunts. Both are well past the 3,000 shot mark and I expect them to go for a few more years.

Regards.
