Welcome from western Pa. As stated before there aren't any dumb questions and most on here like to help. Good luck with the new gun and the.223 is great practice especially since it's only using approximately 25 grains of precious powder!

Yup and even the more expensive VMAX bullets are 21 bucks at the local BiMart.
