My son and I drew bull tags for this awesome unit for this fall. We are so excited. We have been in there 3 times before and this fall we will be ready with 2 nice long range set ups. Here is a picture of my last LR Bull in this unit. It can produce even better bulls than this one.

Well, maybe not. The picture has yet to show up...unlike the bull in it!

We hunt from the top down. Have used horses every year but this year, although if needed we had them available. The packs ended up fairly easy for this country and I had my son and son-in-law along so they made it nice.

For those of you who like rough beautiful country, here are some more pic's.

I live on my ranch in unit 13 almost where it borders 18 on the north. The pictures show just how awesome the Hells Canyon Wilderness is and how it can humble even the toughest.

Looks like the kid kicked your butt....it's those young legs "LOL". Enjoyed looking at your post.

Yes he did. We love that unit, but it's getting harder every time, and there are many places (and you know where I'm talking about) that I frankly will not go anymore, even though the prospect of bigger bulls are higher in those area's. Still, ya gotta love the vastness and the challenge this country posses. Glad you enjoyed the post.

Chris
