I'll have to get mine out and take some pictures.
I have one of those. Mine is a Remington 40XBBR Benchrest rifle. Great caliber, although I prefer the 6mm BR.6 PPC

Pictures please!!!!!I'll have to get mine out and take some pictures.
If you build on a Mauser 98, consider a KEPPLINGER Single Set Trigger [Brownells]. Those are AWESOME TRIGGERS!!!! It's what I have on my VZ-24 .35 Whelen!!!mindcrime this is all your fault! Now I'm thinking about building one!!!
Yup, a nice old Eddystone that belonged to my Papa, that is now my fathers rifle, he had all the parts laying around for years, but never had the spare change to buy a stock. So I purchased that stock and finished it, pillar bedded and got it all put together for him for christmas a few years back. It is chambered in 35 Whelen Ackley Improved, works pretty well as an elk thumper sending 225's at 2800!!
The only recent ones on my list are currently on rugers site. 6.5x55 and 257 Roberts. They use to make a Ruger No 1 with a mannlicher stock. Always wanted one, but so far haven't found one In the caliber I want.

People that need to put a golf ball on their bolt so they can find it might be better off playing golf.and a butter knife bolt handle
I've got a #1 RSI in a 7x57. Looks just like this picture. It only goes hunting on clear days. They use to make a Ruger No 1 with a mannlicher stock. Always wanted one, but so far haven't found one In the caliber I want.

Totally understand. I have a 1B in 6mm Remington. I take it to deer camp, but it only goes out in good weather. Use a Model 70 with a synthetic stock when it starts to snow. My "baby" stays in her case!I've got a #1 RSI in a 7x57. Looks just like this picture. It only goes hunting on clear days.
