Do you shoot 17 WSM ?

I use Brownell's Acra Glas gel, plumbers putty, and neutral color shoe polish (has to be neutral color because of chemical makeup) for bedding stocks. The neutral color shoe polish is a great release agent.
Brownell's Acra Glas cleans up using alcohol or water and has an hour working time. I have used it many years in my shop.
For a lasting hold, NEVER use a fast setting epoxy.

I too like and recommend neutral shoe polish. Works great. For epoxy, I have used a certain JB weld one. It too worked fantastic , but I can't remember which one it was.

Volquartsen makes/made a nice rifle in .17 WSM I had the auto version but they also made a bolt version. Accurate as all get out but a heavy rifle. I used it on a couple of p-dog hunts then sold it to some lucky guy. Actually wish I had it back.

1.20-1.60 per round!!!
Maybe it's cheaper elsewhere but that price is insane!

Sell the ammo , get a 17 hornet,you'll never look back,rifles in 17wsm are all total rubbish,get a 17 hornet,Cz,Anschutz,even savage shoots well.

Walmarts seem to get an allotment of four boxes each every couple months. $19.44 when they have it. I have my buddies keeping an eye out for me.
