How is it at the top of magnification??

It's pretty good at 35x. Was using it on there yesterday to rezero but had to dial down farther out due to mirage. It's not as good with mirage as more expensive optics which is normal.

I have two of the DNT and an Arken 7-35 and the DNT does have better glass. It's clearer and a little brighter. The reason I bought the second DNT from Doug. The Arken isn't bad but the DNT is better.

Can you see a big difference between the the DNT and the S3? There should be because the S3 is 4 times the price , curious how you would compare them.

Oh yeah the S3 is definitely a better optic all around but as you said it's more expensive too. The S3 is better at cutting the mirage and clearer overall.
