I just wanted to share my experience with the customer service I've had with these guys.
I bought my first Defiance a couple years ago; it was the anTi. I was trying to put together a lightweight mountain rifle and this action filled my needs nicely the past 2 seasons.
Fast forward to a couple weeks ago to a hot load my rifle shot. It locked up the bolt and when I attempted to pop it loose I snapped off the bolt handle with my bare hands! I was pretty bummed but called Defiance to see what they could do for me…
I spoke with Grant and he got a shipping label sent out immediately after talking to me. I sent in my barreled action because I now had no way of removing the bolt. I was hoping they could pull it and simply build a new bolt. They received the action a couple days later and Grant called to update me. He said he was uncomfortable using the action and would be building me an entirely new one. They no longer make the anTi so he asked me to choose a different one.
I landed on the AnTi X but the story doesn't stop there!
He then asked if I'd like it nitrided…
I only had the bolt done previously.
He also gave me an option to choose my own serial number! I've never even heard of this!!
So, long story long…
Defiance is building me a significantly upgraded action… At no cost! 🤯
I will be a customer for life because of this unbelievable customer service.
I've been completely blown away!
