Defiance ANTI-X Nitride opinions/question

I just got a nitrided bolt handle from Defiance, and it's all black except a small spot on the end of the knob is brown

I wouldn't accept a re worked action. They'll have to take .0005 off it and there's no way on earth it'll be consistent by using a hand held bead blaster.

Isn't being reworked, just aluminum oxide blasted I suspect and re-treated. If that causes worry about an action being consistent then you won't like what the shipping company is going to do with it! Lol

That color would have been great for my build, with the tan stock.But I see how it doesn't fit yours.Hopefully resolved soon
