I shot this female running , bad shot she ran full tilt as if not hit for 25 yards and cartwheeled over DRT. 17 hornet check out the tree where she was hit. Came to a woodpecker in distress call at 430 PM. Took her in the spine, I believe she was running dead.
As you already know they have a major artery that runs along that area . I have as you have seen coyote run and not be alive or so close to not alive I couldn't hardly believe they could still be moving . I say often that most coyote have a stronger will to live then most people I know . It's too dark to shoot here by 4:30 with out a light this time of the year .
