I'm interested to see what you "old" guys come up with. I like to think I don't qualify, but when I go to Denny's to get breakfast they give the senior discount. They could at least ask my age before they do that.

What's this old stuff, I'm just middle aged, that's what I tell myself anyway, not old till "they" pry my drivers license out of my cold dead fingers, but Seriously, l do think a thread for us "Differently Abled persons" would be great,
And Skip glow, l agree, DIY section as well; between us all, there must be hundreds of years worth of work arounds

Dude…vent away! I got COVID19 the week before OH deer season last year. Was out of commission for months. I was ****ed, but during the season, I was just glad to be alive. 2 months later I got back to work. 6 months later I could take a reasonably long walk at sea level….mile or so.

No idea how hunting will be. I hope to get out of the truck and be on my feet hiking. We'll see.

Sounds like my luck! Caught Covid the last of October and fought for my life all of November & December, never got to pick up the muzzle loader or rifle! Missed the whole hunting season. It took me almost 2 more months to get back to work. Wife caught it, youngest son at home caught it, all are well now but I've lost 6 months work now in All! I'm self employed and the only bread winner of the family, so far behind in work I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, someone's going to have to wait on me for a few days before long....gone hunting!
