Sorry to hear that man I had the same problem this year and had to cancel my moose hunt in Alberta Canada so I'm hoping I will be able for my elk hunt at the end of this month in Co.
At least you had 10 yrs of minimal pain and functional shoulders. Good luck with the next one.Dosh:
As Muddyboots said, there's no turning back. And there's worse that can happen: I had both shoulders replaced 10 & 11 years ago. Now both replacements are failing and I will be going in this December to get one of them replaced a second time. Meanwhile, I live in constant pain. And I'm only 78!
That is too bad.Was scheduled to hunt 2nd season CO. Unfortunately had to get epidural shot lumbar region for severe stenosis outbreak last week. It has not relieved the pain as it has in past. There is no way I can drive 25+, set up tent, and actually being able to hunt any elevation.
I am really not as upset as I thought I would be. Its completely out of my control and cannot get past the level of pain. Usually I can but this event is pretty acute. So now hopefully ok in week or so for remainder of bow.
Linamint works great for everything lol. Just he careful, a little goes a long way, and alot will burn the hide right off of you lol.howdy shooters i broke my back L1 in June now that iam out of the major brace, i find that DMSO makes a big difference in my pain... about three times a day and i feel great, burns a little and smells but it kills the pain...it is also called horse liniment and it works for them....try it...
Well, we'll miss you in the high country. I'll be over near Crawford again this year. Was scheduled to hunt 2nd season CO. Hi mate, I have found a new pain relief drug, called Buvidal, was experimental till recently down here, I get 1 shot every three weeks and it works great, 90% of pain gone, also it doesn't mess with my head.I feel your pain. I have the same problem. Had several epidurals over the years, none of which brought any relief. A week from today it's time to let the surgeon fix it. What sucks is the lack of a decent medication that won't turn you into a doper. Good luck. Mine has progressed to the point that I'm basically an invalid.
Meds like GabaPentin take weeks to work if they're going to.
