CVA Accura LR-X. Load Help

I just picked up a Cva Accura Lr-x muzzleloader. This is my first muzzleloader. I've read a bunch about this rifle, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of people agreeing upon potential loads. Can you guys point me in the right direction? I've been told to use the variflame primer deals, so I can run large rifle primers. I've been told to run the powerbelt elr projectiles. But honestly, I'm super new to this. I shoot long range 22lr, and rifles, but I need a little guidance with this muzzleloader. Thanks everyone. Pics to come.
I have an optima and a Remington ultimate. I shoot with a few loads. I find blackhorn 209 cleaner than the pellets . I usually shoot 70 by Weight in areas where my shot will be under 100 yards and load up to 91 by weight for longer shots. I have had good luck with Powerbeats despite some hating them. I mostly use Barnes originals now
300 grain with 91 by weight. That is pretty similar to and 3 pellets Of 777 which I also use. I'm not sure what your set up will be an expected ranges. My longest buck was 155 yards. I have found decent 2 yard groups but we hunt the windy plains and I keep everything under 200:yards. I have great accuracy with the hornady sst as well but haven't shot anything with them. They are cheaper and use to site in and for load testing. There are los of threads on loads. Randy Waksman, muzzle-loaders.com, etc…

Awesome. How far of shot? Bullet perform well? I have two cva's and they shoot awesome.
200 yards on the dot. It performed perfectly I'd say. It entered perfectly, and it did exit. Both lungs were torn to shreads. He went 10 yards and piled up. Here is the entrance and exit wounds.

I was rushed with this whole project. I appreciate your input. I'm going to definitely play around more with projectiles. I'll probably get another muzzy in the future. They're a lot more fun to shoot than I thought.

What am i doing wrong? The cheek riser on my new accura lr-x will not stay tight. In fact, when the bolt is tight the riser will fall off. Crazy! I need instruction. Thanks

Blackhorn 209 Powder and Thor bullets are a very good combination. You will need to get the sizing pack for the bullets before ordering any quantity. Have a friend that has one and it uses the .499 where all of the rest of the CVA's I have been around use the .500. Have personally used this combination a lot with great success and also been involved with others using these components. They are great bullets that just do their job very well. A picture of a couple recovery's.

So 209 primers are impossible to find, so I purchased the variflame kit. I have tons of large rifle primers, so I should be good there. I ordered a few packages of the 285 gr powerbelt elr projectiles. Then I did the unspeakable, and bought powder from gunbroker! 125 bucks a pound (2lbs of blackhorn 209), plus shipping. Ugggg, I've been raped. Lol.
How does this variflame kit work/perform? Better.
