There's nothing wrong with AG quality. They have a feature that I really like in the forend of their stocks. They have an aluminum bar embedded that allows easy adding of rails or other accessories without having to epoxy in T nuts.

I wasn't implying the level of a specific manufacturer's quality, simply that quality is a reason one would pay more.

Obviously there can be a price point relative to quality of: design, materials, features, precision manufacturing, fit, finishing, quality control, customer services, on time delivery, warranty, etc.

Not every manufacturer wins top honors in every category. I look for the 1 that does in my personal experience.
