Threads hold the barrel shoulder against the action face, longer tenons do not offer additional support or accuracy. I think the long thread tenon giving more barrel support started based on advertising and is often repeated. But if it makes guys feel good, theres no harm! Looks good.

I believe he is talking about a 1.1" OD tenon not 1.1" long.

I don't see any down side to running a 1.1" tenon diameter either and think they should all be made that way regardless of the bolt face.

The action OD is 1.350" with Remington LA footprint.

Optional thread of 1.100" x16 tpi would be offered. Standard thread is 1.06"x16 tpi.
